Every hiker wants to find other people to go with them. It's safer, and it's a lot more fun! The Edmonton Hikers Group is an association of people from the Edmonton area dedicated to keeping active by hiking together. I decided to start this group when I got kicked out of a local hiking group because I apparently took too long taking photographs in the mountains. Although I can be a fast hiker, I believe that nature should be appreciated and photographed, and I believe that I'm not alone in this view.
