This group is intended to be an expansion of a hiking/outdoors ministry that originally started at NewSong Church in Irvine, CA in 2001. I am starting this group for people who want to get out and backpack.  We will be doing some over night trips, weekend trips and a few long distance multi-day through trips.   I encourage people of all levels to join.  We will planing trips for the newbie and those who have not been backpacking in a long time.
